A Christ-Centred Start at Kingsway Christian College

At Kingsway Christian College, Christian faith lives at the core of everything we do. From Kindergarten, students begin a learning journey that helps them understand Christ and grow with purpose.

Early Learning at Kingsway

The early years of schooling form the foundation of a child’s education journey. During these critical formative years, children learn best in a nurturing and caring environment, where they are free to explore and discover their God-given talents.

Kindergarten students at Kingsway enjoy an appropriate developmental programme, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy skills – as well as cognitive, language, physical, social and motor skills.

Our dynamic learning spaces and play-based learning techniques form a vital part of the experiential learning journey and students are supported to flourish academically, creatively, socially and spiritually.

Our Christian faith lives at the core of everything we do and our values shape the Kingsway learning journey:

  • Transformation
  • Collaboration
  • Holistic
  • Relationships
  • Integrity
  • Service

Where Every Child Belongs

Every student is part of a warm and caring community, where they are free to be, encouraged to serve and confident that they belong. In the early years, this looks like calm routines, caring relationships and learning experiences that invite children to explore and engage.

Learning Comes to Life in Kindergarten

Kingsway students are challenged to explore in a place where learning comes to life. Kindergarten learning at Kingsway builds strong foundations for literacy, numeracy and social development through purposeful play, creative learning and guided discovery.
