Kingsway Christian College is governed by the Board of Kingsway Christian Education Association (KCEA) Inc. The KCEA Board consists of up to 12 elected members of the Association with responsibility for exercising all the powers of the Association in the operation of the College. The Board meets regularly and has a number of committees that service the Board.
The responsibilities of the Board include:
- Ensuring that the College remains true to its Mission, Strategic Plan, Policies and Values.
- Appointing the Principal and monitoring his/her performance and the College’s educational standards.
- Ensuring that the College meets its legal and regulatory requirements.
- The development and monitoring of Board Policies.
- Ensuring the College’s physical facilities are constantly updated.
- Planning for the future to ensure the College’s sustainability and continued success.
Meet Our Board
Rex Turton – Board Chair
Elected 2023
Rex and Lizette have two, energetic children, both of whom have attended Kingsway since Kindergarten.
Rex is a practicing Chartered Engineer, primarily working in the resources and utilities sectors in Perth since immigrating in 2006. Rex brings skills in management, risk management and strategic planning and currently serves as a member on the Master Planning Committee.
Brad Taylor – Deputy Chair

Brad and Catherine have six children, all of whom were home-schooled prior to commencing at Kingsway. Three have since graduated, one returned to homeschooling, and the remaining two are currently enjoying the Secondary school.
Brad is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Australia. He currently manages major infrastructure projects throughout WA as well as being a serving Army Reserve Officer. He has also served for 15 years as a volunteer Chaplain with Boys’ Brigade WA, including 4 years on the BBWA Board as State Chaplain.
Brad brings a range of skills including project management, risk management and strategy.
Matt Allison -Treasurer
Matt joined the Board in May 2024, driven by a strong commitment to Christ-centered education. With extensive experience in finance, risk management, governance, and strategy, he is passionate about supporting the spiritual and Christian development of students.
As a Chartered Accountant, Matt’s 20-year career spans major companies and owner-run businesses in South Africa and Australia. Notable roles include Head of Finance at IUA Business Solutions, Financial Controller at Optus Stadium, and CFO at Aberstone Foundation Inc., showcasing his leadership and strategic expertise.
A devoted member of Kingsway Christian Church, Matt has been actively involved in various church roles, including leading small groups. This background enhances his ability to serve the school in alignment with Biblical principles.
As a Board member, Matt focuses on upholding the school’s values, overseeing governance, policy formulation, and financial management.
Outside of his professional roles, Matt enjoys outdoor activities and sports. He lives in Greenwood with his wife and two children.
Leila Enojas – Secretary
Leila and Chris have two boys enrolled at the College since Kindergarten.
Leila brings more than 15 years of experience working with technology companies on strategy, execution and leadership across APAC.
Leila brings skills in human resource management, technology and strategic leadership and currently serves as a member of the Governance Committee.

Martin Chua – Member

Martin and Nina have one child who has been enrolled at the College since Kindergarten.
Martin has practiced as a social worker and mental health professional in various settings in public sector mental health services for 17 years, of which the last 11 years have been in adolescent and youth programs.
Martin brings with him tactfulness and curiosity, as well as skills in written communication, working with complexity, and mental health risk assessment and management.
Martin currently serves as a member of the Education Standards Committee.
Vinh Nguyen – Member
Vinh is married to his high school sweetheart and has three children with his wife Chelsea Nguyen.
As a principal lawyer, business owner and Councillor for City of Wanneroo, Vinh is committed doing what is right, just and fair for our community and upholding these principles in his role on the Board. He is committed to ensuring that every student feels valued and supported regardless of their background or circumstance.
By serving on the Board, Vinh hopes to contribute to the continued success and improvement of Kingsway Christian College, ensuring that it remains a place where every student can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
Vinh enjoys tennis, badminton, table tennis, snooker, soccer, and learning the saxophone.
He is currently serving as Chair of the Master Planning Committee.
Deon Benade – Member
Deon and his wife, Marnel, have been proud members of the College community since their children first enrolled in Kindergarten. Their ongoing connection with the College reflects their strong belief in its values and vision.
Professionally, Deon is a Commercial Manager with a major civil engineering contractor, where he provides strategic guidance and support across a range of projects throughout Western Australia.
Before being elected to the Board, Deon contributed to the College through his service on the Master Planning Committee, bringing valuable insight and a commitment to the College’s future growth
Rebecca Tinley – Member
Rebecca is married to Neil and together they have 10 children, all of whom have attended the College, with four having graduated, four in the high school and two in the Primary school. Apart from a four and a half year period of homeschooling many years ago, Rebecca has been actively involved in College life since their eldest started Kindergarten at Kingsway in 2006.
Since returning to the workforce, Rebecca has worked as an Early Childhood Teacher and in Leadership roles in schools. She has a Master of Education in Leading Education, is Vice President of the Early Years in Education Society and is actively involved with a number of education committees and groups both in her school and the broader education community. Her professional focus is on supporting colleagues and advocacy for education, with a particular focus on early childhood education.
Outside of work, Rebecca is involved with the Genesis Netball Club committee, actively involved with her church family at North Beach Baptist Church, and tries to fit Saturday morning Parkruns into her busy family schedule.
Rebecca brings skills, experience and knowledge of the current education landscape and serves on the Education Standards and Master Planning Committees.
