Parent Volunteer Help

Volunteer Help Levy 2022

The $250 Volunteer Help Levy will be billed at the start of the year and apply to that academic year, (February – November 2022).  This enables families to spread the payment of their volunteer help hours over the year.  Those families who are able to provide help, will receive a refund credit to their account after completing the 10 hours and submitting their timesheet.

Special Exemption for Final Year 12 Students: If your child is in Year 12 and is your last child at Kingsway (i.e. you have no other children attending), you are not required to complete practical help or pay the $250 fee. We realise it is a huge commitment to see your child/ren through their schooling, and this is just a small way to celebrate with you that you are almost there!

Volunteer Help Examples

Parents with younger children are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom from Kindergarten to Year 2. Other opportunities include; the Café, Resource Centre, class excursions, Carnival Days (athletics, swimming), sports coaching, Parent & Friends Committee and Busy Bees on Saturdays held once per term (dates announced via newsletters). Some will assist with exam supervision or will cook meals when requested by Chaplains. The volunteer help form is available at the College Reception and to download below and relevant staff members must sign off volunteer hours.

We invite families to have a conversation with us about their children’s educational needs, so that together, we can decide whether Kingsway is the right College with which to partner.

We invite you to take a guided tour of our modern campus, meet our dedicated team, and discover where learning comes to life.
