NAIDOC Week (15)
On 27th June, Kingsway students from Year 5-11 participated in a day focusing on Aboriginal culture and history as part of an early celebration of NAIDOC Week.

The day was run by FISH (Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health), which aims to provide opportunities for Aboriginal people to share their wisdom and insights to the broader community to teach people how to connect and care for each other and for country, whilst closing the gap and breaking generational cycles of poverty, trauma, and engagement with the justice system.

The College is blessed to be able to work with FISH including Noongar elder Mr Terry “Koodah” Cornwall (who is one of the directors of FISH), to highlight Aboriginal culture and history for our students. For more information on FISH see
