In August 2012 almost 1500 students from Year 10 to 12 took part in the Alliance Francaise exams. Kingsway Christian College student Alexia Muscara of Year 11 was selected as one of top twenty students in the state and went for an oral unrehearsed interview. She then made the top ten and was in the running for a major prize to be announced at the Alliance Francaise in Nedlands in November.
On Friday the 9th of November students gathered at the award Night at the Alliance Francaise. Speeches were delivered by the President of the Alliance Francaise, French Consul, Curriculum Council delegate and various other representatives and sponsors, who praised the students’ efforts, sharing with them the importance of learning a language.
