Brianne Burn

Mrs Brianne Burn is the female Chaplain at Kingsway Christian College. Before commencing employment at Kingsway in 2017, Brianne worked as a Chaplain in two government primary schools.  Brianne and her husband keep busy with three children of their own who currently attend their local high school and primary school.

Brianne holds a Graduate Diploma of Education – Primary and also worked as a Chartered Accountant for a number of years. Her long-held love for children combined with a passion for health and wellbeing is what led her to pursue Chaplaincy.  Brianne feels very blessed to work in a Christian environment where the holistic care of students includes an emphasis on spiritual development. She believes the lack of spiritual attention and consideration in our society, especially after having worked herself in a secular environment for over a decade, has had a noticeable deterioration on health and wellbeing.

Through time given for 1:1 meetings, group sessions, and building relationships with the Kingsway Community, Brianne hopes to compliment the many great pastoral initiatives that already run within the school each year.  Her aim is to sow love and care to everyone she encounters each day and to hopefully encourage, support and inspire them to be the best person they can be, utilising the gifts and talents with which God uniquely blessed them.
