Our Early Learning Centre is a vibrant and energetic place to be.

Our Early Centre adopts an integrated and developmental approach to learning with a major focus on literacy and numeracy. Developmentally appropriate experiences are provided.

The Kindergarten at Kingsway Christian College prides itself on providing an enriched environment that implements high quality and developmentally appropriate programmes in which all children participate. It takes into account all the developmental domains of cognitive, language, physical and emotional skills.

Play is an important part of learning and children will learn many facets of socialising and communicating as well as thorough development of motor skills. Kingsway Early Learning teachers use an integrated programme to teach all Curriculum Learning Areas as stipulated in both the EYLF Early Years Learning Framework and the National Curriculum. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to support the learning programmes by offering assistance in the classroom. We value the input of home and Church and acknowledge the important partnership we have with parents to help children grow and reach their full potential.

Parents of students starting in Kindergarten are able to attend a  Kindergarten Parent Orientation in the year prior to entrance. New Kindergarten students and their parents can also attend Contact Day prior to starting the year. Early language screening and assessment of all students K - 2 is conducted and assistance and support is provided to meet individual student needs.
