The College has an Open Night every second year and it is usually held in the third term. The next Open Night is to be held in September 2021.
At the 2019 September Open Night it was heartening to see the whole community coming together in a festive mood. “The purpose of the night was to celebrate God’s blessings in our community”, said College Principal Peter Burton.
There were so many highlights, including wonderful performances from musicians and dancers to an appreciative audience who packed out the Auditorium. Staff spent many hours meticulously setting up the combined Primary and Secondary Arts exhibition and the artistry on display proved to be a big hit with parents. The younger guests enjoyed the face painting, obstacle course, bouncy castle and merry-go-round and the dinosaur rides and cuddly animal farm were ever popular. This year, for the first time, we had a Ferris Wheel and Giant Maze too.
Parents were impressed with the Science experiments and diverse range of quality music being showcased on the night and the gym was a constant hive of energetic and competitive activity! It was wonderful to reconnect with retired teachers and past students and the community spirit was quite conspicuous.
