Sculpture by the Sea is an annual, community minded exhibition event held at Cottesloe Beach. The event first began in Sydney in 1997, when David Handley, the Founding Director wished to create a free to the public major exhibition of arts. Sculpture by the Sea was first launched in Cottesloe in 2005 and is held each March at Cottesloe Beach.

It is a unique exhibition that Kingsway Christian College Visual Art students look forward to attending. Students develop their understanding of modern sculpture techniques and contemporary materials, in support of their own creative course work. The exhibition features exciting artworks of local, interstate and international artists which creatively transform one of Perth's most popular beaches into an exciting sculpture park overlooking the Indian Ocean. Through art education workshops, exhibiting artists provide students with opportunity to ask questions about their art work and professional art practices.
