Over two hundred people attended the College’s 30th Anniversary celebration dinner held in the brand new Lakeview Ballroom at Joondalup Resort Hotel. The function room looked stunning with a blue and white décor and weeping willow lighting arrangements on each table as well as the outside trees lit up to create a party atmosphere.
The event was attended by a number of people who have been involved with the College over the thirty years, including past and present staff and parents. Guest speakers Aaron (an Alumnus of the College) and Kaitlin Tait of Spark International, a non-profit organisation enabling local entrepreneurs in poor communities in both Asia and Africa, gave an inspiring and entertaining address. The band for the night, Tripad, is made up of a College family and played wonderful music to add to the atmosphere of the occasion.
Photos of the College over the years were on display showing its development from small beginnings in February 1984 on the site of a Baptist church in Craigie with one hundred and ten students through to today with an established campus and an enrolment of over thirteen hundred students.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to mingle and enjoy an excellent dinner as well as to reflect on God’s provision for Kingsway and celebrate the thriving school of today which continues to uphold strong Christian beliefs and values whilst offering an attractive campus and great facilities.
